I've been lurking around for a while, and thought it was about time I shared my first full loop. It is almost finished I've got a few more tweaks to sort out with the cables, and the tube runs are just a temp solution as I'm going onto acrylic tube soon.

I'd say the Luxe, I own the primo, and I'm in the process of a Luxe build, yes the Luxe is a full tower, but it isn't that big really. As far as full towers go, it is on the smaller size, and as far as reatures go, in this price point, it won't be beat.

Late to the party again. To be honest, I might be one of two people world wide who actually likes W8.1, it took some getting used too, but once it is tweaked a little it is much smoother than 7, and it works great over triple monitors.

Over the last couple of weeks I've been gathering all the parts needed for a smaller for factor build, mainly for my daily driver, for browsing, streaming, and some game play sat on the couch on the 50" plasma.

Well that was the plan, until I took my 4670k out of my main rig, in order to flash the bios of a Z87 motherboard for it to take the Pentium G3258, at that point all was good, so I took the 4670k out and put it back in my main rig. That's where the OOPS comes in, I have no clue how I managed to do this but, it wouldn't boot so I stripped it down again, only to notice that on the cpu's contacts there was 2  pins stuck to it, and upon closer inspection it was bent, so it is buggered. I tried to re flatten but, it still wouldn't boot, so for the sake of a 50 quid chip, I have killed a £130 motherboard, and a 180 quid chip. Hence the name of my new main rig build, Black " OOPS ".

For the build, cash was tight-ish, so I could of re used 1 or both of my 7950's but they are blocked up, and don't want to fully water cool both he cpu, and gpu, plus the reference blocks are butt ugly, so I went for the Sapphire R9 270X Toxic edition OC, with plans to add a second when either the Corsair air 240,  the Enthoo Primo Mini Xl, or  the Enthoo Evolve, I'm leaning towards the Evolve it looks sweet. The only thing I'm re using is the Koolance PMP 500 pump everything else is brand spanking. Right onto the build.

I've got a few mods planed, like boxing in the bottom section below the motherboard tray, to hide the cables and pump, I'm toying with the idea of incorporating a light box, as my original  plan was to light the under side of the motherboard with a 5mm acrylic panel with orange LED's drilled in from bellow, but the motherboards back plate, won't allow for that. I'm also playing around with an acrylic panel on the front of the case, to break up the orange and allowing me to remove a section to allow for better air flow coming in from the front.

I recently went through Shakmods who send them out to pexon, I got a full set for my RM750 consisting  of a 24, an 8, and 4 6 pins for a £100, he uses all MDPC-X sleave and does them in about 4 days. He does some good work. He does extensions too, but the price wasn't much cheaper than a full custom PSU specific, you don't send your cables off, which makes it a whole lot easier if you ever need to RMA your unit for any reason. http://www.shakmods.com/

Have a look at the Linmon range in Ikea, they do desk tops in various sizes, starting at £15, and desk legs from £7. They also do all kinds of little drawer units, designed to be used as 1 side of the legs, the options are almost unlimited. I done this myself with a Micke 120mm desk, with 2 Micke 4 drawer mini filing cabinets, with the 120mm Linmon desk top, and Linmon corner section. It set me back abouy £160 all in but it is huge. 240mm wide by 60 mm deep, plus the corner section. I would highly recommend this as an option.

One more thing with certain ranges they are designed to be mix and match regarding the heights, and they do adjustable legs.s

I had the same problem a while ago, my solution was to get a regular vesa wall bracket I found a few that are like picture frame style where you have the screws on the wall and then slide the mount onto them, they have what looks like key holes on them.
, a square piece of 3mm aluminium, and some heavy duty double sided mounting tape.

First I mounted the 3mm ally to the vesa mount with some small nuts and bolts, then mounted the ally and bracket to the rear of the monitor with the tape. All that was left to do was leave it for a while to make sure, it was stuck solid then slide it onto the screws on the wall.

It was / is that strong that a year later the 3mm ally is still stuck to the rear of the monitor , I've git it back on it's stand now, but their is no chance of removing it, last time I tried the plastic was coming away from the front bezel, so I gave up and just left it.

If you mean the front door, there are 3 hinges on the left hand side with 2 screws on each, just undo the screws and the hole door comes off. If it's just the front panel, open the door and you will see 6 ( I think ) rubber door stops, pop them out and underneath there will be a screw undo those, and the front panel pops off.

Hi there guys, I'm new to the forum,l so a little hello from me to start. My name is Paul and come from South Wales in the UK,  I'm 39  but a big kid, but aren't we all really ? I have only been into build your own for just over a year but have got the bug, and can't stop. This build is my 6th but only my 2nd with water cooling. My first was just a simple cpu loop on an i5 3570k.

Onto the build it started with a win on another forum of the Fractal Design R4 XL, and the plan was just to add my Z77 kit, but another lucky win from a local prize draw landed me a £1000 Amazon voucher, so I decided to treat myself to the 4670k and in my opinion the best looking motherboard on the Z87 platform, the beast that is the MSI XPower.

There wasn't much to really mod with the case except for a roof mod to hold a 360 rad, and I had to remove the drive bays to mount the Monsta 420 up front, along with the roof mod, I had to add a 3 x 120mm rad shroud to be able to go push pull. The only other mod I have planed is the door, it needs a nice big window, but the acrylic is on it's way as wee speak. enough of me some pics, they aren't the best my oh killed my dslr ( silly cow ) so I'm relying on my S4.

The psu shroud is just a temp solution , I have something special being fabricated for that
