We don't mix Spanish and English as much, honestly. But we do have quite a few English words that we throw in there. Ex.: Checa esto (check this out): Se me cayó el lunch en mis shorts
But also when I was starting on the internet at some point I started thinking in English, that was probably first year of middle school. Since then my Spanish has been slowly deteriorating even though I use it every day
Like srsly, I'll constantly forget what a word is in Spanish but know it in English. It's annoying

Interesting. My experience with therapists has been better, I can tell you that. Look for a private non-state therapist and remember that not every therapist is for everyone. It might take a couple tries to get one that gets you. You deserve a good, professional one that wants to help you.
I feel like this 100%. Not sure what it is with school teaching you language, but it's glacially slow when compared to studying by yourself.
Recently I realized I can sort of follow conversations in Japanese Podcasts in a semi-decent way, which is huge compared to where I was before
