  1. I super dislike it actually. I think that minimalism is a much better aesthetic. The gamer-aesthetic is too vibrant and busy IMO.
  2. yeah im in the same boat. hopefully Canvas will come to Kat or SA
  3. ayyy a fellow custom keyboard user! I can see you like XDA Canvas
  4. Im going to post my vintage keyboard stuff I bought 2 IBM Pingmasters, one which I converted to TMK (a keyboard programming software) and the other I harvested the switches and keycaps from to create a vintage styled 60% keyboard in an Aluminium case. Converted Pingmaster: "Pingmaster" 60%:

  6. Hey guys. I used to be pretty active on this forum a few years back, and then about a year ago I mostly vacated the forums. I ended up becoming more invested in custom keyboards and gravitated to those forums instead. But im back now, at least for a bit. Some of you I recognize and some I don't, but i look forward to getting to know all of you, either for the first time or again. I was curious about what I had missed. Not so much in PC hardware because I have still been following it loosely, but with things like this forum, Floatplane and LTT in general. Anyways I'm looking forward to diving back in -Slippery Pete
  7. wow I forgot all about this project. Is it still being worked on @rossbin?
  8. Ive had -Ipod Shuffle -Ipod touch 4th gen -Iphone 5 I enjoyed all of them. I later discovered I was more of an Android boy (although if apple gives me a good reason ill go back). I also don't have a use for an Ipod anymore cause I carry my phone everywhere
  9. any of these make sure you confirm on the product page it supports socket lga 1151 before purchase https://pcpartpicker.com/products/cpu-cooler/#h=14000000,56000000&c=30
  10. if you have some alright soldering skills you could make your own keyboard. there are kits available that allow you to achieve a split board like the Quefrency.
  11. yeah the masterkeys line of keyboards are pretty damn good, and for 65$ thats a steal
  12. same. its a fantastic printer for the price
  13. If your willing to step into the custom space than tenkeyless wireless boards with rbg, blutooth and LI batteries do exist
  14. Im not saying that I like beats or that i think they sound good, because they dont. I dont however think they sound bad. they are just very overpriced for not very impressive sound. (this is just my opinion and i am by no means an audiophile)
  15. 1. Spring swapped Cherry MX Silent Blacks or Kailh Box Burnt Orange (I honestly cant decide for the life of me) 2. Kailh Pro Purples 3. Outemu Skys (Tactile 62gram) 4. Kailh Box Browns
  16. i agree with @2FA nothing super standout. you will find equivalent or better deals by looking at daily or weekly sales on newegg, amazon etc
  17. while your point is correct, i think that smite isnt the best example. smite offers a different experience through the perspective of a 3rd person MOBA. Tribes Ascend for instance is more or less Halo
  18. if we didnt make mistakes we wouldnt learn anything. I really hoped you passed dude. Im gonna follow this thread and be sure to let us know if you get the job good luck
  19. so a few things. 1. most times they will not test you on interview day, unless it is a group hiring process. that should buy you a few days. 2. urine tests (which are most common) detect weed in your system for 10-20 days at most. 3. there are a lot of home "remedies" that are supposed to clear up your urine, some involving consuming small amounts of bleach or other chemicals. THEY DO NOT WORK 4. im not sure if you have been tested before, but during a urine test (at least all the ones i have taken) you are in a separate room from everyone and you are simply asked to remove the items from your pockets and leave your jacket outside
  20. Counter Strike. God damn i hate this game but nothing else scratches the itch quite the same
  21. welp i guess i got some explaining to do. I use mATX because it is a good size for me. Small enough to be transported between college and home a few times a year, yet offers an extra pcie slot, more sata ports, 4 ram slots, more drive mounts in cases, etc. essentially some features a mid-tower offers in a smaller package. So anyway when i built this PC a few weeks ago there werent even any B450 motherboards announced for mATX so i went with the best mATX motherboard i could get and updated the BIOS. I know that mATX is unpopular but i like it and it works for me. The extra features that come with B450 are not necessary for me and im not much of an overclock-er so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ive been keeping an eye on my VRMs and havent had an issue yet. Again im not overclocking and i have decent airflow so i think ill probs be fine thanks a load guys. nice to be getting the speeds i paid for <3
