  3. If we’re taking Apple’s word for it, it’s possible that x86 support will last beyond Big Sur although that’s still subject to change. But looking at their past OS roadmap, it’s possible that support for existing Intel Macs might not last for long. 2005: announcement of Intel transition 2006: launched OS X Tiger for Intel (software updates lasted until September 2009) 2007: launched Mac OS X Leopard which natively supports both PowerPC and Intel (software update lasted until June 2011) 2009: launched Mac OS X Snow Leopard which only supports Intel based Macs, Rosetta 1 is an optional software update Sure Apple will still release Intel based Macs this year but that’s it. By 2021, they will only ship ARM based Macs and by 2022, it’s likely that even the Mac Pro will be transitioned to ARM. But with that said, it’s very likely that even macOS in 2021 will still support Intel so hackintosh is still possible.
  4. I like watching The Hill's Rising with Krystal Ball (D) and Saagar Enjeti (R). It's a commentary channel so it's biased but it's nice to hear from both sides. https://www.amazon.com/dp/1947492454/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_3X9.Eb7Z97KP4
  5. 30 day trial dear Also, Amazon Prime Video is cheaper than Netflix and someone can pay just for one month and cancel afterwards.
  6. That’s it? Edit: Btw, looking at the trailer of The Boys makes me think it’s like Suicide Squad but better.
  7. So, what Amazon originals are worth paying a subscription for?
  8. I can’t wait to finish school, get the right training, pass all required exams an get the fuck out of here. There are things that are simply beyond repair and that includes the country where I was born and raised.

I remember those days. The feels

  9. You can also try Samsung's midrange A series https://www.samsung.com/gr/smartphones/galaxy-a-series/ Personally I wouldn't recommend the iPhone SE because the screen is just way too small imo. Rumor has it that they're going to release a 5 1/2" iPhone SE in Q2 2021.
  10. The chances of Apple using AMD could’ve been possible if only the Zen architecture came earlier. Back when ultrabooks are just starting to get popular (2010-2012), Intel was better than AMD that’s why they’ve used Intel’s Core 2, core i, and core M. Well it seems that Adobe might bring the entire CC to Macs with Apple Silicon. Wondering how Premiere will perform considering it’s not a Mac optimized program.
  11. I hope Cinebench R20 gets recompiled for Universal Binary 2. I know that devs who received a DTK decided to run benchmarks first instead of recompiling their applications, I wonder why they’ve decided to run Geekbench but not Cinebench R20 since both will just run under Rosetta 2.
  12. No pants are the best pants especially during summer and you’re all alone in your house
  13. A bug in Windows 10 version 2004. There's no way my SSD would constantly require manual optimization (aka TRIM command).

    1. DrMacintosh

The user should never have to TRIM/Defrag/ or otherwise manage their storage devices. Just some basic user oriented OS design.

    2. James Evens

      James Evens

Think this is in the known bug (microsoft/mdsn) list for this update.

Also, I didn’t know EXO’s main rapper can sing until now
  15. If you’re a polyglot or just can fluently read, write and speak more than one language, you can teach at Verbal Planet. https://www.verbalplanet.com/
  16. It’s a good thing I watched some of his studio sessions. I think he’s also going to drop an unreleased LP song with Chester back when he was alive.
