    Yeah we are looking into the 870 EVO's as well. Having trouble on deciding what  HBA's to use. Not sure the difference between LSI 9200/9300 are. Still googling for information

    Yeah it is, and I think that fan hub has really mixed reviews right now. Might go with the R6

    overclocked at 4.3Ghz, doesn't show on cpu-z because of turbo boost though

    He says his rendering time with his current machine an i5-3230M with 650M graphics and 8gig of ram takes about around 20 minutes. So I guess he's not modeling and rendering on that big of a scale?

    Yeah, your's a much bigger scale, i7-6700K@4.5Ghz cinebench is around 900-1000 points while your 1700 is around 1400 points while his poor i5-3230m only has a cb score of 201...

    CPU OC'd at 4.8Ghz @1.285V GPU at stock 
    Can't seem to get to 4.9Ghz stable and I'm not able to run Intel Extreme Turning Utility at 4.8Ghz also all other benchmarks are stable. Any helps?
