Captain Ninja Kid got a reaction from soldier_ph in People are reporting that Huawei phones are automatically deleting videos of protests in China without notifying owners
    Summary
As reported on twitter by Singaporean journalist Melissa Chen, Huawei devices have reportedly begun removing videos of the recent protests in China from users phones. While it is not currently known whether the data was locally stored on the user's device or in the cloud, this kind of censorship appears to be a new way for governments to silence their people.
    My thoughts
It is staggering to see how little control users have over their own data and the reach to which surveillance has already been baked into existing technology. My fear is that this kind of automatic censoring could find its way into other devices as users grow more and more willing to surrender ownership of their own data.

Put your specs into pcpartpicker.com and as a rule of thumb, use double if not a bit more than the estimated wattage.

Glass? No, why would it? Glass is much too fragile to thread (especially such small threads as standoffs use). It also heavy and fragile, overall the exact material you don't want to use for anything that isn't decorative.

I would say this is ok but I would get the base 2700. Also check local craigslist. You could save a ton. I got my 7700k mobo and ram for 350. The extra cores from ryzen will be useful for rendering. Old xeons could also be an option. I have a friend who got a 10 core xeon after a local place upgraded servers.

My guess is that it's not actually encrypted - you just opened a binary file in notepad and so it's displaying all of the data as random characters.
