  1. sort of a purchase in that they took my money, still pre-order stage for shipping in a week
  2. I know you said wall mounted, but what puts you off a desk mount? I have a vesa desk triple monitor stand that has a single pole for the centre, its width is about 80mm for the pole with a 100mm base plate. Was literally $78AUS dollars, so around $35 in the UK i imagine. It leaves plenty of space under the monitors and far cheaper/easier than wall mounting. I drilled 1 x 10mm hole in the desk. I later added 4 more screws around the base plate but they were not necessary.
  3. What did that set you back? time for a new mousepad as well lol
  4. TBH, i have a few different brand AIO's now and i find them quieter than the fan options. I find my intake fans to be the loudest thing. On full rpm sounds like my pc is about to take off from a run way lol. I also have a cryorig R1 universal sitting in a box, used for about a month, that was fairly silent during operation, boy was it massive though lol.
  5. I have the orion spark and came from a logitech g19. I find the keys nice and big, the key caps have a small indent that seem to channel your finger to the mid section of the key. The keys are nice and big with ide say medium to large travel between keys (they feel slightly larger than my g19). The switches are responsive and solid. If you have any other logitech gear the G software is alright, nothing else extra to install The palm rest is about medium in length and comes with a smaller palm rest included in the box. All in all i would definitely recommend it (i know you say its the non-RGB version of the orion). edit - if you want to know any more dont hesitate to ask
  6. i justy made the switch after looking through this post. I also run a script blocker called 'no-script' i originally seen it on tor browser. It can be a bit tedious at times but it essentially blocks java script. Once you start to unblock some of your more frequent/trusted places it works well to stop random scripts running in your browser
  7. Just got myself set-up and started, dont really have anything dedicated but atleast i joined the team to give some more points.
  8. fair enough, with the size of the pump you would also need to have the pump setup facing the top of the case, i barely have enough room for a normal sized rad with the fittings to the bottom
  9. your going to lose a lot of space for your drive caddys, its a pretty beefy setup. I have a 240mm rad in the front of my case with just push fans at the moment and it really took up alot of space, I can only have the top 2 drive caddys installed. If the fans could have been removed to have a flush mounting I probably would have got one.
  10. i was going to get it for my H450 noctis, the same internal as your H440. heres what i think - fans/pump attached to the rad in such a way that if removed they would not allow for the rad to sit flush on the top. - therefore no elegant looking push/pull setup - I already have rather close ram clearance with a H100i with a push fan on it, the predator is larger rad/fan setup which would probably hit ram
  11. Ah sorry, my bad. Carry on lol
  12. if you can spare the cash in your budget, go with atleast a 250gb SSD and then around a 1tb HDD+. You will find the SSD fills up rather quick being 120gb, and after seeing the dramatic increase in responsiveness in files, etc, you will start putting more and more programs/games/etc on your SSD. Just use the HDD for large downloaded/storage of files (music, videos, downloads, older steam/origin/whatever games).
  13. they getting a tad bizarre on chanelsuperfun lol
  14. picked up a new logitech 910 to replace my aging g19 and some el-cheapo ram to throw into my media pc to get back 16gb of ripjaws back from it
  15. Currently trying to learn C++ on my own. Reading dummies guide to c++ as well as reading the solo learning app for android lol, started to try and debug errors i get in android. Its still a bit over my head lol. Apart from that i have only dabbled in some other 'languages' bash, python, java. I definitely don't 'know' these languages just the basics to get me by. C++is the first i have truly given a good crack at. Side note; anyone got any good sites like 'tutorial questions' or something so that i can practice pieces of code, or debug a piece of code or something like that? All i can seem to find is like 'how to run a tutorial' or 'what questions to ask in an interview' regarding c++ which are all garbage or only ask worded questions, with no actual example/testing/writing of the code
  16. looks awesome... can always add in some extra piping to your pc, off the pool pump lol
  17. i bought ridiculously big 12inch like concert speakers off ebay brand new for less than 100 shipped (auction started at 99$) a few years back, boy i can bearly touch the knob on my receiver up and you could hear it from outside the house in my room. As soon as i saw these i thought they must be the same. Cool though with the car amp setup.
  18. if your into developement/tinkering with your phone, the dev community is nearly non-existant with that phone/brand
  19. woah, you must literally shake your room walls with that setup eh?
  20. what is your source for different bios files? You can use 3dmark (free) to test and bench your card You can also use msi kombustor to test rudimentary. Your best bet though is to run game benchmarks and do a lot of in game stuff to really see the difference. I have had plenty of times where 3dmark and other artificial testing programs run fine, but 30 minutes into gaming and i would get a crash. As for my own overclock i am not really running anything on my 970 at the moment, awaiting a watercooling AIO bracket from corsair
  21. You can use the storage function on a quality lipo charger and check with your lipo battery tester. You want balance charge the cells as well if it has a particular extra function for thatEdit looking at the pics put your mode to the appropriate battery size not just the voltage u want. You can use discharge first if your not planning on using them but I never really liked that function, just keep an eye on the battery periodically of u use the discharge as it can get them quite low. I usually just ran them in my most power hungry rc car
  22. Card or Cooler? Either way nice gear
