TheTeflonSlackerG got a reaction from RH00D in Taylor Swift calls Apple Music free trial 'shocking, disappointing' in open letter
Don't see anything wrong in the letter. Imagine that you guys are the ones not getting paid for all the hard work you have done. IT SUCKS.
BOTTOM LINE: Artist's have a choice. If you are not getting paid with your efforts then don't patronize it. KNOW YOUR WORTH.

TheTeflonSlackerG reacted to exyia in Disney has terminated your job - oh, but train your replacement on the way out
lmao
thanks for making the same assumptions on me. comments like that will obviously improve this forum
did I ever say they shouldn't have?
or that Disney had no right to do what they did?
I said it's a dick move, that's all. did I ever shout from my baby seat that what Disney did was wrong?
But good job. way to act all high and mighty over everyone on the internet. you should check your own comments before claiming everyone on this forum is a "child" with "no perspective"

TheTeflonSlackerG reacted to Glenwing in Should I return my Titan X and wait for the 980 TI?
TITAN X water blocks will be compatible with the 980 Ti. They use the same PCB.
Yes, you should cancel the TITAN X order and get the 980 Ti. There's really no reason to get a TITAN X.

I really don't know much about SSD since I haven't been able to use one. But, I am considering on buying one for my next upgrade. So do you think it would be a big issue? I was planning on just buying the SSD for the OS only and other files would go to an HDD.

TheTeflonSlackerG reacted to Silyy097 in Some SSDs Can Lose Data After Just A Few Days In Storage
If you're concerned about it losing the data, dont get worried. As said, it only matters when it goes up in temperature, such as in server rooms and such. Unless you're planning to cram 50 SSDs into your PC case without decent *cooling*, or stick your SSD onto your CPU radiator, you don't need to matter about it losing data.
TL;DR : Go for it.
EDIT: added the word cooling

TheTeflonSlackerG reacted to LinusTech in Linus Media Group Inc. is HIRING!
Read this post carefully before applying. If your email demonstrates in any way that you didn't read the post, then your letter WILL be ignored.
We're looking to expand our team. Please have a look at the list of the skills we're looking for and send a description of your experience and some basic information about yourself in the form of a cover letter (not too long)
Video editing
- Basic video editing skills are pretty much a must - we use Adobe CC
- Any more advanced abilities (familiarity with After Effects, basic graphic design principles in Photoshop or Illustrator, music or sound effects aptitude) will dramatically improve your chances.
Camera Operation - just looking for something fairly basic here, but if you happen to be a great camera operator in addition to other things listed here, let us know!
- Familiar with DSLR or cinema camera operation
- Familiar with basic techniques to achieve even lightning
Script Writing - Looking for multi-talented, very creative person(s). This is something that's potentially available as a part time or remote-worker contract gig

- Comfortable conducting auditions and hiring actors
- Comfortable creating a shot list, finding locations and doing associated paperwork (authorizations and whatnot)
- Comfortable managing a video shoot on a tight schedule with 2-5 actors
On Camera Hosting - Not interested in hiring a dedicated on-camera host right now, but if you're a very strong candidate for something else, and you are also a great host, then that will work in your favour
- Fast As Possible needs alternate hosts
- If you're very knowledgeable about games and gaming, there may be an upcoming talk show (similar to WAN Show) that would be a collaborative project with Luke
Benchmarking & Hardware Testing - This won't be full time, and we won't need a dedicated person for this for quite some time
- Excellent hardware troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Careful and detail-oriented
Qualified candidates should possess the following attributes with particular emphasis on the right hand column:
Quick learner Independent worker Good sense of humour Initiative taker Good time management Motivated Hard worker Good communicator Passion for technology

Remember to make sure you click and visit trusted links or websites. This malware is pretty nasty if it's true.
