This is my first time building a pc I'm looking for any suggestions on the parts i picked also a place to buy them i was thinking NCIX.

Change that PSU and get something from SeaSonic or XFX.

 

The R9 380 will perform better than that GTX 960 (up to 15% more performance), so I'd advise you get that instead.

it looks good i would say just a slightly higher wattage psu (550W) as you most likely keep it the longest when you upgrade in the future

Also, I totally agree about getting skylake (6xxx series) build. @Dzzope's build is pretty dang great, though if you don't need 2TB you can save some money there with the WD in your origional build.

I play at 1080p is a gtx970 going to be worth the extra $150 . When i look at bench marks of the gtx960 or r9380 vs a gtx970 i see a 10fps improvement is that going to make any noticeable difference when gaming ?
