  1. Look, like most I was a pure Mac hater. It's shit value for money, I get it, I personally use my own windows rig at home and love it. But, I love Mac OSX, all of my friends at school currently use them and I love the feel of them, just really great build, but shit spec:cost ratio. Thing is that battery life doesn't mean a whole lot to me as I'll only be using the laptop from 9am - 4pm five days a week, I tend to just switch files from device and work on everything on my main rig at home. And it'll go on charge every night. The most demanding thing the device will be doing is probably Premiere Pro, maybe some more demanding stuff as the years go by but nothing incredibly demanding, so performance isn't a massive thing either. It's just mainly that premium, easy sorta feel that OSX provides, so I'll be going with the Mac, thank you!
  2. Super urgent. Looking for a school laptop around the $1500 AUD range, would love for it to be a mac, good storage and 15", can definitely go a little bit over and it can be used. THANK YOU!
  3. THANK YOU! Went to Logitch website and they had a tutorial on how to do a hardware reset using a tiny little unlabelled button that you need a pin to press, absolute bullshit it's not in the manual.
  4. It's pretty much impossible as most alternatives that WOULD work better would either result in a guaranteed mega fire or (like ammonia) probably kill you while you sleep. And of course it has to be a liquid, so some potentials would simply have to be too cold to actually be in liquid form. The only alternative to water I know of that people use is some sort of man made cooling fluid that's often dyed and is mainly used for colour and it is a lot easier to clean with a custom loop, so you can go with that but I don't think it cools better.
  5. Hey LTT, My Logitch G933s are causing some major annoyances right now. On top of the now damaged mic that needs to be repositioned all the time to work, one of my ear cups is suddenly a tad quieter than the other, which as I'm sure we all know is probably the most annoying thing to ever exist. I don't know why this is, and I thought that just a simple balance change would fix it, but the issue is that there is simply NO balance button available, I go to the levels tab of the device properties as ALL google searched answers suggest and there simply isn't a button there. Also the enhancements tab isn't there either, so I'm really stumped on what to do here because my warranty just ran out. Thank you.
  6. Mainly chrome, cortana and spotify, but from what I can see the numbers don't add up, I might be wrong, but I just feel paranoid that my virus isn't completely off and is fucking my performance.
  7. And my system also still appears to be using 3.8gb/8hb of memory for some reason, could that be linked to the virus?
  8. Already downloaded both, what should I be looking for in the connections tab? It just appears empty with nothing in the box.
  9. Found file origin of plugin and uninstalled the program associated and all its components, restarted PC and plugin did not come up on startup list, should I be in the clear now?
  10. I've tried to remove it via control panel but it doesn't appear in my programs list, just my startup menu. Should Revo Uninstaller fix that?
  11. Genius! I found 'DelayPluginl' which from a quick google search is adware, don't know how I didnt see it earlier. Should it be easy to remove safely?
  12. Hey LTT, I've got this really weird adware/malware/whatever on my computer, symptoms include: Unresponsive applications Unresponsive buttons (power button, taskbar, etc.) Unresponsive keyboard in certain situations (when typing PIN to PC) Ads despite adblocker (not turned on for forum btw) Occasional static noise coming through headphones Performance Issues Putting PC to sleep Not sure what happened, I was on reddit, then i went to message a friend via skype and bam one of my keystrokes put my PC to sleep, turned it back on and couldn't input PIN or restart PC. Weird noises came through headphones and I could see some apps opening and closing in the background. Since then I have regained control of PC when the pin just randomly decided to work and uninstalled skype and some other things + disconnected ethernet before running virus checks. All came back with nothing but it appears that my virus is in my memory? 4gb being used when task manager only says around ~500mb or so. I've being courageous enough to plug ethernet back in and I'm attempting to locate an issue but most of the symptoms seemed to have backed off, still have ads, slowed performance and cant open steam. I know the malware is still there, do I need to completely reset my PC?
  13. Basically, put down headphones to do a chore, came back, and now the microphone only works when i put it in just the right position; similar to when some ear buds are damaged, aux cord damaged, etc. Tried restarting headphones/PC, redownloading drivers, looking through settings but it appears to be a physical issue. But that makes no sense as i had done absolutely nothing to damage them, any ideas?
  14. Managed to just simply find one of the older iTunes version installers (a super old one) in my downloads then update the version back up and its been working fine, thanks anyway!
  15. So I just bought a new 6s plus but in order to load my backup onto it I needed to update iTunes, before doing so it detected my phone no issues, but now it won't detect my 5s or 6s. I know there are already DOZENS of guides on how to solve this issue but all the possible solutions don't appear to work - I've tried: Restarting Phone Restarting PC Restarting iTunes Different cable Different USB port Different phone Waiting for the phone to be detected After attempting to reinstall itunes it now won't allow me to even install the program, what a fucking ruined afternoon. If anyone has had a similar issue some help would be greatly appreciated.
