Original build (up until the initial completion) were all filmed at the end of August/beginning of September. Every other part has been filmed the week it was released.

uhh, the 4790k could slap the fuck out of any AMD cpu.

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay. I emailed Dino PC and they were very supportive, they told me what to look for in terms of components but there seemed to be nothing wrong. So Dino PC have arranged to pick up the PC for no charge and will find the fault and replace the CPU encase the temperatures damaged it. Thanks everyone for your support!

Way too high. Even with a bad cooler, those temperatures are crazy high

Silverstone resently added "the mammoth" to their site.

It is a dust proof (uses very thorough filter) (edit ITS A HEPA FILTER!!!!)
Spill proof (no top vents, downward slats)

Uses same basic frame/layout as ft04/rv04, so dual 180mm fans.

Typically Reddit getting sweaty over anything related to Half-Life. Maybe it's time the fedora tippers tipped the other direction. 

This sounds stupid, but ensure that the back cable (from the wall to your PSU) is plugged allllllllllllll the way in. - Just a precaution in case it is not 

4790k hands down, far better single core performance (great for gaming) and better rendering performance, especially when overclocked.
 
 
edit::::: Though at 4k CPU doesn't matter much, but since you're rendering videos I think it's worth it. If you're after gaming performance, and your 760 is doing okay in the games you play, a single 970/290x/980 should do fine, but if you want to play triple A titles, you'll want two of any of those.

I still think that haswell will still be one of the better chips to buy. 14nm isn't going to be as cheap from what I'm hearing.

Is buying used PC hardware worth the risk? Can you save significant amounts of cash AND get top level, reliable performance from used parts?
