    I can't wait to live in a world where I have to buy a gpu and then buy a GeForce yearly license to process dx13 games. Solving a temporary supply problem with a permanent and anti-consumer licensing solution is pretty short sighted. If we give them an inch to stop crypto mining from stepping on gamers toes they will take a mile. Thats all I'm saying.

    It boggles my mind that any sane tech enthusiasts would actually advacat for a license or block on doing a type processing on their own gear. I get that mining is annoying but you cannot un-ring that bell.

    If I had more time I would love to make a list of all the windows 10 apologist and surveillance nay sayers on LTT. Watching them all eat crow at once would be pretty great. I'll just take all their deafing silence as a small petty personal victory.

    Small update. I contacted support and they said the 380 would not be compatible with the am4 upgrade kit. New block time I guess.

    I have a koolance 380i and I'm probably going to switch to AM4 in the near future. Can I pick up the 390i conversion kit for am4 and have it be compatible with the 380i or should just get a new block?

    This story caused me more brain damage than any game.

    astro is a more well known and respected brand among console users than logitech, especially in the COD and Halo circles. Along with the hardware they bought their way to being in the top 3 for console accessories.

    wut. I haven't been on the forums in a while and I come back to find that the everyone's favorite master baiter is banned? The mods are absolute mad men. Mage must be bored af now though.

    That makes me more curious about big vega and scaling with HMB2 Than with the 580 refresh.

    I already own a ps4 but most people don't shop for anything other than games and movies or browse the internet or pay bills or do work from a console so the level of access the console will have to personal information from the get go will be limited to media and games purchases. Until consoles resort to packet sniffing I don't think what's happening in windows 10 and what console OSs are doing is really comparable.

    Samsung playing it extra safe on the design after the note 7. That decision may... blow up in their face ok i'll leave.

    I will fully switch to consoles for gaming before I become complicit in microsoft's attempts to turn my personal desktop into an advertising platform. I hope this trend continues and it forces microsoft to pull their head out of their ass and fire anyone even remotely associated with the direction of the current iteration of windows.

    Crossing my fingers that Koolance makes an am4 backplate for the 380 because the 390 is ugly as sin and I don't want to buy a new block.

    mmm yes. all that extra head room we would have had with 64 bit 5 years sooner only to still be hamstrung by xbox360/ps3 console ports. When windows isn't an advertisement by default people may start taking it seriously.

    long term driver support will be non existent with this so long term development will be a no go.

    Is windows recognizing a new device being plugged in? if so then either the usb posts on the pcb need to be resolder or the cable needs to be replaced. Both are easy fixes even without experience in soldering.

    Another generation of failing to provide quality hardware for 3rd party development. I wonder how far their stock has to fall before they figure out that their strategy with the wii wont work anymore.
