    The one that sticks out in my mind recently is the scandal over Microsoft paying YouTubers to promote Xbox One prior to launch. The ones that did so are in quite abit of hot water with the FTC at the moment for failing to disclose to the consumer that it was paid advertisement of the product and they where under contract not to speak out poorly against the unit.

    I mean in theory static charge would do this and leave no visible damage but maybe talking to your mom would be a better route.

    Yes and no, I don't think LMG owes us anything, but I do expect FULL honest disclosure from trusted reviewers. When you say one thing on the public front and do another without disclosing why to the audience it makes me question the rest of the content.

    Consumer protection laws doe not function in this manner in most US states. If you purchased a product that said it contained "x" and in reality it contained "y" then you are entitled to a full refund and should get one.
