( yes I know A3 is set in the future , but it feels like a 'realistic' and not laser guns and jet packs. )

Did your PC show any signs of life, such as LED's turning on, or fans powering up? If not, check your PSU switch. I was worried for about 5 minutes on my first build when it wouldnt power on, but it only turned out to be the PSU power switch.

When people say I'm not smart because of my High school grades in everything but Math and Chem/Physics (which are good)... Computer science and Economics are what I'm interested in and that will be where my mindset is.
Also when people compare me to other people in a bad way.

In reality, you don't really need a ESD strap, all you have to do is touch some unpainted metal (like a radiator riser or a stove) every 5 minutes and you'll be fine.

Well, make sure you don't strap on to a painted surface. If you have an old pc case, scratch some of the paint off inside and attach it there. When I built my second PC, I had some mesh from my first case that I scratched some of the paint off and connected to. I had no issues with static damage
