Five days left until judgement day! Assembly is done, now I only have to direct it -.- Gigabyte amazingly agreed to send me a motherboard! Thats a huge wind in the sails, but more on components on a later day! I am super-tired, so here are a million pictures of what ive done since my last update!

Yes it does mate, you might have to click on it though....
    http://www.stempel-hauser.de/shop/page/2/

I'll save you the week I spent researching these. You can order it from stempel but there is a guy in Portugal that makes them for alot cheaper.

Or just cut out the middleman and make one yourself like I did [straya shipping urgh].

Measure where you want to put the light and go to your local perspex/plastics shop and ask for two solid white pieces and a clear perspex piece about the same thickness as the two white pieces put together. Grab a thermaltake white LED strip or equivalent and then go to Bunnings and buy some silver insulation tape and tape up the base and the edges thick enough to block light, with the LED strip on the edge you want. Voila half the price and time of waiting for it to ship.

Fiddy mm has a nice guide here but there are plenty online on other pc modding sites. The trick to achieving uniform illumination accross the top piece is to carve with a box cutter or knife a grib pattern into the middle piece to reflect the light through the piece so that you get that nice glow.

    Fiddys guide from page 5:

There is another guide somewhere on the internet that I found after pouring over martmamods thread [http://www.overclockingstation.de/case-modding-gehaeuse-bastelecke/4293-martmas-gravur-laser-murdermod-thread.html]
But I can't find it atm, it showed a discussion on what the best thickness was for the space between cuts for the grid pattern and what perspex was the best to use. Whatever, here is mine:

Forgive me for spamming your thread flix29, just wanted to help starwarsguy99 and anyone else whom finds this. Looking forward to seeing the end result after you absence!

It's all here!  I bought the wrong fan for the extra 140 rad but I got a spare laying around that I can use until the new one gets here.

System is finally complete!  Replacing the HDDs with a larger SSD probably with my tax return.

I ended up having to place my fans outside the case on the top because theyou were just barely hitting my motherboard and I couldn't line up the standoffs right on it.  I also had to RMA one of my fans (DOA) so I haveone of the fans from my old heatsink up there for the time being.

    UPDATE #2

So, even though the NZXT website says that the S340 can accommodate up to a 64mm radiator, only a 39mm one can be realistically placed in the front. The 64mm number also includes fans. I just ordered another rad on amazon and it should be coming tomorrow. Here are some terrible photos:

I had to drill some holes in the top of the case as seen here because the screws were less than a millimeter to big and I didn't want to wait for the fan bracket adapter.

Here is the super tight bend I did from the CPU to the pump.

Here it is, the pump and res are mounted horizontally (you can do that with a D5) Don't worry about the utterly terrible cable management and that random tube... Already connected it to the CPU and I'm just waiting for the rad.

Thanks for the follows and comments! Really appreciate it!!!

    Update!
The pump/res is mounted, and has been leak tested.
I found two leaks while moving some tubes around and luckily caught them all!

    Some gorgeous LEDs

Thanks for tuning in! Color coming tomorrow!

    Hello again.
First off for this week Cooler Master sent me some A cool t-shirt and a drink container for being part the the Cooler Master World Series. Thank you CM I will wear it with pride,

Sadly Ive been told I look bad in photos. What do you think ? I was Home Alone at the time. and was a bit scared when the flash went off

So the build is still moving along, I started off making a airlock door. and some rails for the inside and some other parts, then moved on to the case again.

The Rails relay suck to make. just my 2 sense worth. And yes I need to make more! :upset:

All of this build is hand made, cut out mostly with a sharp blade and other hand tools.

Still adding to the look of the case as I go. Below is where I'm up to so far.

Some parts are being shaped with sign foam to make it a bit quicker.

That's about it for now. I'm waiting for the water cooling gear from Bitspower to arrive then I can start getting the inside up and going as well.
But for now I'm trying to get the outside all done, Not all that much more to go on the outside. just lots of small bits.

    Again thanks for stopping by.

Hey guys, here is another update for you all, I got the ball nice and smooth and I also found some sort of mushroom vent thing that I took apart to use in the build. I am not 100% sure if i will be using it but it is all part of the progress so I will show it to you guys =) I have since used some acrylic and it has worked much better so there is another spot i am thinking of using this part in =).

Just found this for really cheap at the local hardware store, thought it might make a good lip to build the window off of.

Time to shred this vent into what we need. Firstly I had to remove a few rivets holding it together

next a bit of jigsaw work to remove the bottom half.

After drilling a hole to get the jigsaw blade in, we cut the centre piece out as well

next comes the cleaning up part, a bit of file work

Some use of the grinding stone to remove any rough edges

And lastly the sanding wheel to polish it all off nice and smooth.

As I said before, I will be using this piece somewhere else now but its all apart of the progress so I wanted to show you all =)

I actually took the PSU that was shown out and swapped it with EVGA G2 750 and took off the Sticker on that side.

But I did not like the red lettering showing on the PSU

Also I can't place the pump in the bottom becouse there is 3X2TB HDD's
2 in the cages and 1 between the cage and Powersupply also above them I have 2 more 2.5"SSD's and all my excess cables. So unless I took out the storage in the middle or remove the 3.5 inch bays.I can't move the pump to the bottom.

Hello everyone, as the title suggests, I am doing a custom loop inside the NZXT S340. This build is going to have a blue/black color scheme, because I feel that red and black have really become way too popular.
    The part list:
    i5 4590
    8gb HYPERX Fury
    MSI Z97 PC Mate
    XFX R9 390
    240gb SSD
    1tb HDD

    Water-cooling parts:
    EKWB XRES 140 Revo D5
    Primochill tubing
    EKWB 10/16 fittings-black nickel
    EKWB Supremacy EVO copper-plexi
    EKWB PE 240 RAD

    Update number 1:

    Just got all the parts

Welcome back guys, today we managed to get some more progress done. Now that we have the 4 plant pot quarters all cleaned up I needed to create a rough base on it using some aluminium to it gives me a surface to work off of when I do some fibre glassing and bog filling.

As a temporary way to attach the aluminium to the ball I just drilled a few holes around the frame and into the metal sheet so I could wrap it around.

A few nuts and bolts to temporarily keep it in place makes it a lot easier for me to work with.

next step I just used the dremel to take off the excess metal for the next quarter

and here is a few of the sections joined together. As you can see to bend the aluminium I had to cut slots in the metal. These were only rough and don't need to be neat because of the next step we will be doing.

I hope you guys are enjoying the progress, more updates shortly.
