On the Photos, it looks just like mine. But I was not able to tell it until I took a Photo myself.
 

Back when I had a prebuild PC I bought a cheap 50€ passive cooled GPU (it was flipped, so the radiator was on top of the card)and it was constantly overheating, because my PC had the motherboard mounted on the opposit side. I tried to fix it by screwing a fan into the sidepannel, but forgot to drill holes other than the ones for screws. Well it did not fix the problem.
Also because the powerdraw was was so much higher than the preinstalled card, my psu died shortly after.
I still use a 9 year old HDD to store my backups.
I tried to open an old HDD once and broke the screwdriver.

Corsair Dominator Platinum 16 GB DDR4 for 200€. Hell it was more than 50% off when I bought it. Never seen it drop below 400€ since then.
Asus X99-S. The reason I got it over a deluxe was simply that it was ~130€ less, now it is only ~60€ less...
Gigabite GTX980 Gaming G1 for exaclty 500€. nought said.

Usage Notes/Benching Tips
1. For NOLIMITS bios, set "Power management mode" in the NVCP to "Prefer maximum performance".
2. Although the power limits are increased, the sliders still go to 125%. This is because the default power was also increased.
3. The BIOS still scales to low voltage/clockspeeds when idling, and does not implement the P00,P02 workaround, it actually does voltage scaling correctly.
4. If benching, be sure to set Preferred refresh rate to "Application-Controlled".
5. If benching, remember to set Vertical sync to OFF. Leaving G-SYNC enabled, for example, causes a severe drop in bench scores.
6. There is strong evidence that afterburner may be incorrectly showing 1.275v. Several people, including myself, have measured the actual voltage from the back of the card to be at ~1.31-1.32v.
7. Gamestable final tested for 10 hours by playing borderlands TPS WHILE encoding x264 at the same time using OPENCL extensions.
8. NOLIMITS bios tested bench stable 3dmark firestrike ultra.
9. These BIOS's were tested on 980 SLI 70.5% ASIC and 64% ASIC quality.

thats what I said... So I guess I browns are it, since these are the only ones I could actualy find in a store, and even though they are a bit light, they feel way better then my Sidewinder X4 does.

Great now I've gotta find backlit Clears, I guess I will have no luck with that....

You might try looking into lowering the overall sound of the card by decreasing the idle RPM's from 1500 to ~1000.

There's not much you can do for the wub-wub-wub oscillation of the fans. I don't particularly like the gigabyte g1 for this specific reason, my msi 760, although it was hotter, didn't have such loud idle sounds.

I can recommend the Noctua NF14, they are quiet up to ~ 1300 rpm and not disturbing up to ~ 1800 rpm. But they just don't like pull very much. I noticed a massive dropp in airflow between push and pull.

In my opinion, the BeQuiet! Silent Wings seem to suit your needs. They are very quiet, even on full speed. The more budget version would be the BitFenix Spectre. 
I have heard some good things about the Aerocool DS, as well as Fractal Design.
If you want some more power on full speed the Noctua Industrial PCCs are very quiet at low speed and move a lot of air, but I don't knwo how how well they work with fan controllers, since they are somewhat powerhungry and PWM controlled.

The 212 Evo is just there, because the Kraken X61 is not available yet... Motherboard and case will arrive tomorrow.

I have mine for about 2 weeks, and it is a really good mouse.
It is a bit small for my large hands, since I can not stand anything but a palm grip. So after excessive moving and clicking (mainly while playing LoL) I have to stop due to my hand cramping up.
Other than that, great sensor, good functionality, the mouse wheel is grippy, but noisy the cable is barely noticeable and it is capable of insane DPI (who needs 12000???)
