Alright, so Im going to rebuilding my current system with a new case and a NZXT Kraken X61 soon and I was wondering what 140mm fan should I get for maximum performance from Noctua should I get, also Push or Pull, I've been told Pull master race but I am still debating which to go with.

Whats the IP67 fan do, is there a difference? Also why wouldn't I get the 3000RPM one, would there be a huge increase in noise?

second if you dont need a water proof fan also the 3000 sounds like a hairdryer the 2000 are not loud but can be dialed down in bios so under heavy load they hit

Ip67 just means water proof

Sort of, it's a rating for water and dust resistance. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IP_Code

Not really needed for your typical PC, but it's nice I guess :P

I can recommend the Noctua NF14, they are quiet up to ~ 1300 rpm and not disturbing up to ~ 1800 rpm. But they just don't like pull very much. I noticed a massive dropp in airflow between push and pull.

I saw a benchmark that showed no performance improvement over the stock fans compared to a aftermarket fan.

I can not say anything about that (the X61 is still not available in Germany) but I can speak about the performance of the Noctua fans :)

But as soon as it arrives (a matter of days I guess) I will compare the soundprofiles of the two fans.
