Well uhh

I'm going to be testing all the LGA 775 and above CPUs

I should make a damn good profit seeing as I've seen haswell xeons in this pile before

@CUDA_Cores Found myself a place to get scrap lel

Kudos to you but I find that so frustrating that you have access to those resources because you work there, meanwhile I obey the posted no-pilfering signs at my local drop-off. If you find some working 4th gen, go easy on your ask ;-)

    *three weeks later*

    I have test 137 cpu's...

    only three of them work...

Guys, I've sampled this pile and every CPU has worked so far

They toss ANYTHING that isn't an i3, i5, or i7...

    Their loss, my gain

a consultancy, and one thing we do is rental desktops, as in they pay a flat monthly fee and we do maintenances, repairs, and replacements as needed.

which means every 4 years we have one hell of a pile of desktops xD

I hope you're not based in my area. We're about to fire a company that does that for us...

Wait, not I'm confused. I was asking Yoshi because I thought he worked at the place that is getting rid of those chips.

chance is rather small, we only have one client who is crazy enough to pay the price of before mentioned "platinum" service, ending up at like €200/mo per desktop, and they're so satisfied they do so gladly xD

    "for gold"

You wouldn't get a fraction of your money back in gold.
