  1. *** Threads merged *** As this seems to be continuing your previous thread with more insight of the hardware in question.
  2. Preview button is already available on desktop editor.
  3. I did make mistake on moderation for this:

It was originally posted to LTT video suggestion thread. And if you read just first post, it isn't clear what the post is about apart from being criticism for LTT/LMG. We don't remove criticism. Which is why it was made as own thread instead of alternative actions.

I have personally apologized this misjudgment to OP.

There is something in that thread (some posts doing this have been removed as off-topic/pointless) that I think should be eradicated with fire. Thats calling something "drama". Before last years Gamers Nexus reporting, this kinds of posts would have been called, as they should have been, criticism. I could find examples where no one is mentioning "drama". "Drama", as I view it, would be about making baseless claims, suggesting actions made or things said that actually did not happen or were misquoted. Like the pre-drama drama that was spurring before GN video dropped. Whereas months to years before GN video there were threads made about mistakes, errors and poor corrections, as well as stating sponsors etc. and no one was calling those of being "drama". Just criticism of which validity everyone views differently.

Imo this has nothing to do with drama. Its criticism made with personal opinions. Those are always valid. Until one claims opinions to be facts.

I didn't agree with the way the post was split off, and I appreciate you apologizing.

I think such things can be avoided if mods contacted OP before taking such actions? I think that's fair to the OP because they should know that significant context of the post will change, like in this case.

Thank you for the acknowledgement. Sorry for my poor choice of words in the first place.

  4. -> Moved to General Discussion Sponsor Complaints subforum is specifically and only for that subject. Any other question for LMG in general can be asked in General Discussion.
  5. Don't feed trolls, they are misquoting my post from earlier as their own.
  6. There are already categories for PC, Console and Mobile Games. There is room for boardgames discussion, but that could be handled by topic in Off Topic sub, just like other megathreads. The fact is that this is tech forum, not lifestyle or general discussion forum (like Reddit). So decision has been made to exclude variation of non-tech discussion. So far, there have only been couple of threads since forum was created that have complained about it. If you want to post game reviews, using existing game related subforum is good place for those. E: Additionally, General Discussion gets about 20 threads dumped daily that belong to somewhere else. This also drives notion that the list is too long for modern users to read and search for proper place for their topics. Apparently present company included.
  7. The alternative model is one that would work for UK, this style of plug: I have currently Oneplus Nord Buds 2. If you are buying your first true wireless, I would go cheaper first. JBL is something you can get cheap, but I would avoid. I had 2 pairs die within year of purchase. But you should make own thread for this, especially if you want recommendations on full headphones. If you go with true wireless bud style, I strongly recommend getting silicone case from Amazon for them. Those cases are slippery plastic and mostly lack any place to hook string or carabiner. Making it easier to drop them or lose the case. Otherwise, I've been good with basic stuff I can get from local department stores. Except one charger that didn't deliver. But after that trip, I have had power bar for any longer trips.
  8. Pretty much my thoughts. Chairs are whole different level from clothing and even screwdriver or backpack. Plus, shipping would not be possible outside of Canada and returns and warranty would ruin whole company very easily. I have said this in all threads asking and/or complaining about chairs. Don't buy before trying. Buying blind means you end up with something you most likely don't like and can't easily return. Same goes for other things that have effect on ergonomics, mainly mice. LTT should emphasize this more in their chair review videos. The one where Colton had actual professional help to setup chair was step to correct direction. But after Taran left the company, there isn't anyone who would be constantly aiming for better ergonomics. Also, remember this video from Gamers Nexus. Still holds its place for anyone thinking of blindly buying expensive chairs.
  9. It's easier to blanket ban stuff like that than try to make tools to counter. Like I could search for bit.ly and get all that I want to remove. No need to click to see whether link is fine or not.
  10. What are you looking for, suggestions on which charger to pick? As I assume you have headphones already. Also, where are you traveling? Within country and you don't need different types of power adapter, traveling to another country and you may need something to adapt power first. For power banks, if you travel by air, be sure to check all airlines on what is the max capacity you are allowed to bring on-board. I think 10k mAh is ok, but some allow 20k mAh too. On headphones, if you are still looking, there is couple ways to go. One is to expect that you will lose them, and thus buying something cheap-ish with decent features. Or going something big and expensive, to be sure that you will be happy with them even after the trip. From experience, ANC is really a thing to have on flights, even short ones. Otherwise, imo there's no "travel tech". Apart from maybe bundling bunch of different charging cables to one cable. You are going to be happiest with tech you daily drive as you know what they are and how they work for you. Rest depends on what you are after. Entertainment during trip? There might be on-board entertainment on flights and in Europe, some busses. So tablet or portable gaming console is one thing to have. Pictures/videos? If you are just basic traveler, but want to have you and your partner in same pic with the view, something as tacky as selfie stick is actually pretty good pickup. Here's my packing, bold are what I take to international travels: Phone Tablet 2x USB-C cables, long 1x micro-USB cable, short-ish (for power bank) 1x short USB-C (from power bank to phone, pocket fit) 2 slot charger quick charger 2x power banks, one smaller for pocket charging ANC headphones (buds), spare headphones (buds) just in case for 3+ day trips power bar, 1.5m cord power adapter if traveling to country with different sockets selfie stick with remote
  11. Look at the entry level models. You get stuff you don't want, but less than going with the top models.
  12. Are there many unboxings? I haven't looked a lot there, but I don't think so. Overview covers unboxing and going over features, use cases and maybe some testing. A review would happen after longer period of use and have further analysis on features, durability etc. to evaluate whether product was worth the money or not. What does this mean? The latter is something very commonly used in LTT and SC videos, with "your mileage may vary" suffix. This seems like pointless anecdote to make. Whats your point here? Is there problem on how your peers review the stuff they have bought? These aren't or aren't meant to be professional reviews. But rather members giving their own opinion on stuff to other members.
  13. And if you care to read my posts, I do agree that they should refund return cost... On sizing I will stand behind my note about it being on consumer to look at all measurements, not just one banner that says "size-up if unsure to get more sitting space".
  14. Try before buying, not buy before buying. You can go to any store selling office furniture to tryout chairs. Thats how you get measurements to see what height, width, armrests etc. is what you want. And if you know someone with same manufacturers stuff, good place to try it out. Or at some LAN event.
