  1. FSP together with Bitspower created this psu, the Hydro PTM+ is a unique, patented liquid cooled PSU. No price and date release yet but more information will be revealed at computex. Source: https://www.techpowerup.com/233590/fsp-introduces-the-new-hydro-ptm-liquid-cooled-psu
  2. The Sandia CPU cooler was a concept from 2011, but today Thermaltake launched the Engine 27, a low-profile CPU cooler with the heatsink-propeller design. The Thermaltake Engine 27 derives its name from its 27 mm height (meets 1U spec). Noise output figures of 13-25 dBA, depending on its speed range of 1500-2500 RPM. Measuring 27 mm x 91.5 mm x 91.5 mm (HxWxD), the cooler weighs about 310 g, and supports LGA115x sockets (LGA1156/LGA1155/LGA1151/LGA1150). The fan supports 4-pin PWM power input. Price of the product is still unknown. 3. Serve the Home posted some pictures of the gigantic LGA 3647 socket. The upcoming Knights Landing platform will support 6-channel DDR4 support, as well as no dual-latch system that is used on the LGA 2011 platform. Serve the Home explains that the socket and thermal designs that they have seen "do not have latching mechanisms", and instead they're seeing "solutions that secure the CPU to the heat sink". 4. The Z170M-PIO2 from ASRock, is a socket LGA1151 motherboard that has a unique angled PCI-Express gen 3.0 x16 slo card parallel to the plane of the motherboard. The PIO form-factor is an emerging standard of compact SFF cases that you mount along the VESA wall-mount bolts of your display. Technically, the board conforms to the uDTX form-factor, but is compatible with micro-ATX and PIO form-factors. 5. NVIDIA Tesla M10 graphics card features four Maxwell based GPUs(GM107) on a single PCB with 2560 total cuda core and 32 gb gddr5 ram (640 cuda core & 8 gb per gpu ). The Tesla M10 graphics card is aimed at Virtual PCs and Virtual application workloads with a design that’s user optimized meaning that it can support several virtual users on a single graphics card. The Tesla M10 GPU is passive cooled with a total of 225W TDP. Powered by a single 8-Pin connector and is designed for dense rack servers. The GPU can support up to 64 Virtual GPU instances and 28 H.264 1080p 30 FPS streams. Each user can access 512 MB of VRAM with the entire GPU filled with vGPU instances. A Dual Tesla M10 configuration can support 124 vGPU instances. no words on pricing, but it will sure be expensive Source: http://iyd.kr/976 http://wccftech.com/nvidia-tesla-m10-graphics-card/
  6. This high-tech billboard is designed by two Brazilian advertising agencies, is lit with fluorescent lights and emits carbon dioxide (meant to simulate mammals exhaling) and a lactic acid-laced mist (meant to simulate sweat) to attract mosquitoes. The mosquito then crawl into the sign and become trapped, eventually dying. It can attract mosquitoes from as far as 2.5 kilometers away, according to the designers. The companies believe a sign can be built for just under $200 and kill millions of mosquitoes. 7. Hasselblad introduce the new H6D camera, available in two forms. The first is a huge 50-megapixel offering, while the second is an insane 100-megapixel camera. Both of them feature a new autofocus system that is capable of locking onto specific points, such as a subject's eye, so that the photographer can track it and adjust composition. The H6D also feature a touchscreen and 4K video recording. As for price, the 50-megapixel version costs $27,000 while the 100-megapixel camera rocks a huge $33,00 price - and for these prices, no lenses included . 8. At GTC 2016, Nvidia demoed a prototype display that runs at about 1700Hz. Nvidia attached a VR display to a rail system and shook it back and forth rapidly. The image on the display stays in the same position relative to the camera. The logo stays visible with only a small amount of blurring, despite the rapid movement. The presenter, Nvidia’s Vice President of Research David Luebke, says that Nvidia attains this high refresh rate by "overloading the display and driving it with this kind of novel binary delta-sigma encoder kind of approach." The company didn't indicate when this display tech might make its way out of the lab. Source: http://www.roadtovr.com/nvidia-demonstrates-experimental-zero-latency-display-running-at-17000hz/
  9. WhatsApp is announcing that they have completed development on end-to-end communication technology. The end-to-end encryption will only work with the latest version of the WhatsApp app, but in the meantime users will be able to see which messages are encrypted or not. This move comes after the recent FBI and Apple fight over encryption, in which the FBI attempted to compel Apple to disable a security feature in iOS by creating a special version of the operating system and loading to a suspect's phone.
