Password always wrong on first attempt

Anybody know why? Every time windows 8 loads, the password is wrong on the first attempt. I remember watching a youtube video about how if you have a password, it shows you the login screen before everything has loaded, does that have something to do with it? Like it's not done loading, so it just automatically tells me the pass is wrong? That sounds like the idea of a elementary school child.

Do you start typing in your password when the lock screen is still showing? This is the screen I'm talking about.

no, i click so the password bar shows up, then i type it in

maybe it has to to with the keyboard and it is only registered when you press  a key. Try pressing a random key first before you enter your password and then enter the password, maybe it will work? otherwise i dont know
