win 10 with GPU drivers still crashing?

hi guys! i never upgraded to windows 10 because of all its faults im still on win 7. i heard- that games tend to crash on windows 10 both on AMD and Nvidia.

so when do you suggest i should upgrade if its still faulty?

Moved to OSes and Software.

 

Whenever the problems get fixed. We will likely have no idea when the issues will be fixed, but certain games on my PC(W10) do crash like GTA 5 and Saints Row 4. I remember Microsoft claiming any program would be able to run on this OS.

if you want upgrade now you can. i had issues with gpu drivers at first. the trick is to just uninstall them. then just let windows update them by itself.

I have the exact same system as you, just non-OC, and Nvidia GeForce GTX 680, UD5 board, and 6GB of RAM (triple channel).

And at work, I also have a similar computer: 6-core model, 12GB of RAM (old RAM collected), ASUS board and GeForce 980 (don't ask, I know the CPU is bottlenecking. We upgraded one of the comps to a 980Ti, so I took the 980, to replace the 780 :D)

Win10 has been running solid on everything I throw at it, expect one of our old libraries at work we bought a while back, but the systems have been solid. Much improved with the lated big update (Threshold 2).

I think, it is worth a try, but perhaps clean install this time.
