Black Ops 3 - is this normal?

PampaZiya

Laptop specs: (ASUS G551JM)

- GTX 860M Maxwell

- 16GB RAM

- 256GB SSD

- i7 4710HQ

I cannot run Black ops 3 on 1080p on low... on 90% without it going under 60fps.

The optimal settings in Geforce experience are everything on low/disabled + 1366x768 and even at that, it drops below 60 fp sometimes....

Like, really?

I play battlefield 4 on high-medium settings at 1080p 100% with motion blur and it never drops under 60fps and it has way more particle effects and environment than black ops 3 which has very small maps.

Also, I ran battlefront 60FPS on Low but with absolutely gorgeous landscapes and it didn't even feel like low.

Low settings on black ops 3, you can litteraly see the pixelated shadows and disgusting textures.

Is it just bad optimization or is it just too demanding that my laptop is just outdated now? I ran Black Ops: Advanced warfare beautifully ! I mean it, it was the most gorgeous campaign I ever played (FPS) and it ran buttery smooth, even going to 80 fps+ (But I capped it at 60fps, 60hz monitor)

My temps while playing BO3 are unusually low. They don't go over 80 degrees which makes me sure I'm not throttling my GPU

Has anyone had any problems with Black ops 3 as well?

Here's a list of places the game freezes for ms-s :

- Initial loading screen the point where the treyarch logo comes together.

- When it's "loading files" before I go online

- When I choose the type of game

- When I enter a matchmaking queue and the background lags (The one with the character)

- When I'm in the game and I just go "outside"

I tried many fixes online but none helped.

Any recommendations?

EDIT: I also tried going from the BO3 Nvidia driver to a 350.12 driver and it was a little bit better (also fixed a huuge amount of problems with the newer GPUS) So I would love if anyone knows a stable Driver for mobile GPUs I can try

You sure you playing it on NVIDIA GPU instead of INTEL HD? and this game still have so many issues regarding performance and optimization.

Ryzen 5 3600 | MSI B450 Tomahawk Max | Corsair Vengeance lpx 32gb 3600mhz | EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING | XPG Core Reactor 850w

Yes I'm sure, I have shadow play turned on. Showing my FPS from Geforce Experience (Even though I turned it off and used the Draw fps from the game instead sometimes)
