Ifixit as anyone at linus tech looked at the shipping Thanks for the update info in wan show this week

Wintyr

wow 53 bucks for shipping its almost the same price as the kit itself there awasome but at those shipping prices and the 30% are dollar is behind using code WANSHOW. the package is going to set you back 150 CAD. not sure the kits even close to worth that.  not sure why they only offer you the most expesive shipping options on there website.

53 for shipping? And not even overseas? Fuck them.

Noctua shipped me some accessory replacements from Austria to fucking Canada for FREE.

$53 to cross the border on the same piece of land...

Alternatively you could save maybe 20 bucks if you use a DHL company called borderlinx depending on the size of the package... But even they charge through the roof for shipping.

Yeah shipping doesn't always make sense.  I had a friend order two similar items at the same time once, one package from Ontario and the other from England, and the latter arrived first :P

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

53$ for shipping? Wtf i thought 60€ shipping for a subwoofer was much, that was overseas from the U.S. to Germany and that thing weighed like 18kg

Hey @Wintyr,

That does seem a bit outlandish. I'm getting in touch with my contact now.

One thing of note is that here in Surrey, BC, when I try to check out under my postal code I get an option for $35 through FedEx, so it may be a regional thing.

Either way, I'm looking into this! :)
