IPS vs 144hz, what should i get?

i play mostly 3rd person games.

 

which is best for me?

Fast refresh TN for competitive FPS. The blacks are great on my IPS compared to my TNs. If latency isn't an issue, go IPS.

Depends on two things:

  • IPS - If you work on any image or video editing. Or if you want a great colourful and vibrant game. 
  • 144Hz - If you want a smooth overall feel. But is more focused on fps based games.

As said above. If you not really into some image editing and all that. then a 144Hz would still be great for a 3rd person game (and fps, you never know where you might be.)
