What do you think about GTX 980 G1 Gaming from gigabyte?

 

Do you recommend this card?

For the same price or just tad more get the 980 Classified. 

 

Btw any 980 will be good for 144hz 1080p gaming.

I definitly would not go for a 980 for 1080p gaming. You would be better of with an r9 380 or a 970

Any 980 would run 1080p fine.

 

Would probs be fine with 1440p too.

 

If you can, just try save the extra cash and get the 980Ti

 

Or get a 970 for 1080p

I still pref EVGA.

1080p is a tad underkill for a 980 though.

I think I would go with 980 for now and next year i will get 2nd 980 and SLI them. Is it good idea ?

Need the extra power to deliver above 60FPS, he / she will be using a 144Hz panel. A 970 or 390 wont really cut it for harder to run games at high settings at the target framerate.

get a 980ti now sli brings to many problems that you dont want to deal with. the g1 gaming is a great card. i prefer the strix
