Internet basement problems

Hi everyone,

I want a strong wifi signal in my basement, I initially wanted to get a lan cable into the basement but now for reasons itss not going to work. I barely get any wifi signal in the basement because of the distance, what would be my best option to boost signal, wifi extenders ?

A second router acting as an AP (Access Point) or a signal repeater.

Should be placed on the bottom floor (I assume it's a house) in the general area of the basement. If the floor isn't too thick you should be fine then

Definitely this, so long as there is an outlet in the basement that goes to the same power panel as an outlet from the room your router is in, it should work perfectly. They are extremely simple to set up as well, just plug them in and, at most, push a single button on each device to get them to auto-connect to one another. Prices are not bad either, below $30 for a 200Mbps kit.

I Agree with powerline if you can't get Ethernet down there.

Either Powerline & Router like everyone else is saying or just drop some wi-fi extenders about.
