Looking for Laptop for School

Hello fine folk of the LTT forum! I am looking for a laptop for school, and was hoping you guys could give me some recommendations.

 

-Budget around 550 USD but the lower the better

 

-I plan to use the laptop mainly for media consumption and writing papers.

 

-15 inch touch screen screen 

 

-Hopefully at least 1tb of storage

 

-I'd also love a card reader

 

-Battery life and weight aren't large factors, but I'd like them both reasonable.

Erg I know Asus has exactly what you are looking for. I can't remember the gosh darn name. It's about $500. I think it has an i3.. Erg.

Thats a lot of requirements from $550. but thats coming from me who bought a Core-M based non-touchscreen laptop for $1300.
