8GB 390X Crossfire @ 4K

Sylar1155

How would two 8GB 390X's cope at 4K, highest settings on GTA V?

I might be buying this card so would like to know :)

i wouldnt bother with 390x cf for 4k, it can do "some" games, but not for long.

get a titan if "money isn't a issue" "I want to play on 4k"

that'd be counter productive, you'd be better spending a bit more for two 980Ti's then.

Very well. By the way, even 4gb are enough for 4k for the time being - don't worry about that.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

vram doesn't stack in sli - if they have 6gb each, the game will only be able to use 6gb.

I know 4GB can do 4K, the 390X is 8GB.. BUT can it actually handle all the graphics on ultra settings? Can the chip itself actually handle that very well?

two of them can - if not ALL on ultra, at least a high enough details that you really won't notice the difference. If you want to be sure you'll get that in all games, go for two furys.

I wish i could have 2 Fury's.. But since my case cant fit 3 watercoolers.. I'd have to make a custom water loop of sorts and im not even sure if there are water blocks available for the Fury's yet..

Im beginning to wish there were more GPU's on the market with a memory bus of 4096bit's!
