AVG Free vs Bitdefender Total Security

Simba

I currently use AVG Free alongside Malwarebytes. Bitdefender Total Security is going for 29p for 6 months on g2a. I have heard it uses less system resources in comparison to AVG. I don't mind paying 29p for bitdefender but is it better than AVG Free?

I'm not quite sure if bitdefender has an anti malware built in or if I need malwarebytes alongside it so please recommend me what to do.

avg+malwarebytes

go into the advanced settings and turn off active scanning, and change a bunch of other stuff too

avg uses 0 cpu resources for me

i only do full scans once in a while since avg already checks imported files and downloads

avg is cancer tons of resource usage + slow shutdown
