Disabling integrated videocard

AMD 5000 series is the dedicated GPU. The integrated GPU is in the CPU itself and is Intel HD Graphics. You already know this.

 

 

You can't disable the iGPU, as far as I know

You can from the BioS - there is a setting but it's not adviseable since the laptop will switch between then when necessary.

OP said there is no option in the BIOS.

 

@OP: Check the Intel software thingy and see if it can be disabled from there.

Let me explain the problem...A friend gave me his laptop since it had this problem,it gets black flickering screen right after windows 10 "logo" and you cant do nothing...I did reset of windows installation and it worked fine untill i noticed the amd video card won't get recognized by the pc. Just the intel hd which is integrated works,and yes the amd had latest drivers installed.
