Anyone got the ROG Swift PG278Q?

Pooherino ツ

I bought mine last week from NCIX. It was on sale for $850 Canadian. Usually it retails for $950-$1000 before tax and shipping. Mine should be here hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday. I'm pretty excited to get it, been watching all the reviews on Youtube and still not satisfied. So if you have one of them, let me know about your experience.

Yup, I have one as well as a PB278Q Asus 1440p IPS next to it.

It has great colors and picture quality despite being TN as Linus mentioned in his review.   I'm not sure if that's a good deal, but it sounds like it.

I got mine from a friend for $600 USD

Snap I'm a bit jelly, would love to be able to get my hands on one of those, but unfortunately I could only just barely justify spending 500 on the monitor I have now xD

If you get one that works You will love it.  Mine worked great out of the box and still no problems after about 4 months. One thing to keep in mind is if you are trying to change the refresh rate with the 2nd button from the bottom it will only change if there is movement in the display.  I was trying to change it while on the desktop screen and it did nothing. Was about to RMA until I did some research.  So during gaming this is a none issue but something to keep in mind.

i7 5820k, Asus Deluxe x99 3.1 board, 2 Strix980tis Sli, Intel 480gb SSD, 4T WD Black, Asus PG278Q, Acer xb271hu, UpDesk!

Yeah, it can be a bit confusing at first, but if you need to change it on the desktop, so just move your mouse around an it will work.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

I'm in the same boat. I was ready to buy this then I heard about the PG279Q. Kinda sucks because Asus hasn't really said much about a release

Yeah I'm still waiting to hear when it's coming out. We still got this month. They said sometime around Q3 of this year.
