Should i switch out my Corsair Silent Pro M2 1000w

Hey, 

 

I recently upgraded to a 980TI, when i first bought the PC i put in a Corsair Silent Pro M2 1000w. Im having a hard time finding a whole lot of info about it online now, which makes me alittle nervous. 

Wondering if you guys would feel good about having that PSU power your GTX 980TI, i7 4790k and other expensive goodies in your system.

I sure do, late night and no sleep the past few days has gotten to me. Yeah! i noticed that review, but 3 out of 5 stars doesnt strike me as amazing

Overall it looks to be a solid PSU, looking at it's little brother it has good internal components and delivers good quality for the most part. It's 12V regulation is a little higher on the low power consumption end but still within safe margins:

Yeah, maybe ill just stick with it for now. I was just kinda worried about it maybe down the road effecting part sin my rig. Since everything is at the point of being very expensive

It's not a PSU where it's dangerous to run your hardware on so not an absolute must for a new PSU, however if your running a 980ti with a 4790K a good 750W will be more than enough even with heavy overclocking.

It's less about the efficiency rating more about the PSU build and power quality, something like an EVGA G2, or XFX are all good.
