Samsung EVO SSD

I was wandering if Windows 10 would have trouble installing on my EVO 120 GB SSD. I had some trouble with Windows 7 install but I just kept overiding the install and it worked.

GAMING RIG:

CPU: Ryzen 5 5800X3D

MOBO: ASUS TUF Gaming X570 PLUS (Wi-Fi)

RAM: 32GB G.Skill Ripjaws @ 3600MHz

GPU: PowerColor Fighter RX 6700 XT

STORAGE: 500GB Crucial MX500 M.2 (Boot Drive) / 500GB Crucial SATA / 1TB WD HDD

CASE: Dimas Tech EasyBench V3.0

 

VR RIG:

CPU: Ryzen 7 5700x

MOBO: MSI B550 Gaming GEN3

RAM: 32GB G.Skill Ripjaws @ 3600MHz

GPU: Zotac AMP! 2080 Super

STORAGE: 250GB ADATA SSD / 500GB WD Blue SSD / 1TB WD Blue HD

Well I have Windows 10 and my 250gb 240 EVO runs just fine. I don't really see a reason any drive should have issues. The Samsung magician software also works fine.

 

P.S. @GamerMan make sure that you follow your own threads/topics using the button on the far right side of the title "Follow this topic" so that you receive notifications whenever people reply in your thread/topic. You can also follow your own topic/thread when creating it. There is a tick box on the right sidebar next to the editor.

maybe do a clean install on the SSD after backing up all the data, but why do so many people actually install that now?

 

Also guys, I am a noob with that, but does Win10  cost something after 1 year when you have Win 8.1 currently or is it completely free?
