Randomly bluscreened?

Flanelman

my laptop has just bluescreened randomly, all i have installed recently is: unity, UE4 and a few steam games, no new hardware installed or anything so im not really sure why this has happened?

any ideas what it could be, and ive recently updated my cpu and gpu drivers?

thanks in advance :)

p.s. i took a pic of the screen that popped up if that could be helpful i can upload but i dont think it really said anything about a specific identified problem :(

try taking a peek in windows event viewer, it usually has far more information about what was happening at the time of the crash, and specific error codes you can reference to see what the problem is.

"The initialization of the peer helper modules failed with the following error: 0x80070032"

could that have caused it? but after googling it it seems like that was just a failed back up? not sure why that's happened but also wouldn't imagine that would cause a crash?

It actually looks like a windows system restore point problem, probably caused by the bluescreen. Was there anything within the minute before that?

ive actually just checked and that was at the wrong time, there doesn;t seem to be an oissue around the actual crash time?

Not sure, there's usually something recorded, even if it's just the reboot.
