Help Me Build My First Gaming PC

So.... I'm a 15yr old kid who wants to get into pc gaming, but I don't exactly know anything about PC parts or anything to do with PC's, I have made a PC Part Picker build and was wondering if you guys could help me out and tell me if theres any way I can bring the cost down, or any other parts that are better than the ones I have on the build so far! And my Budget is around $500

Thanks so much!

Welcome to the Forum, Cam.

I'd make a couple of changes:

I wouldn't go with FX for gaming, because while the FX-6300 is good on paper the single-core performance isn't great and that's what games benefit from these days, which is why Intel is dominating the gaming market right now. Also, I'm not sure you should be spending that much on a motherboard.

See if I can throw something together...

Also, I'm 14 by the way.

Sig under construction.
