R9380 or R9290 X

Can I get some advice here please. I am thinking of buying The Gigabyte R9290 X, or should I rather buy the R9380 from them?

@Jeanré The 380 is a rebranded 285 so get the 290x.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
