Windows 10 upgrade from windows 7

Hello to the community,

I need help. I have a genuine win 7 HP on my desktop but I haven't received any upgrade notification to windows 10. Has anyone got this problem? and have they found a solution?

Thanks

I got the notification on all my rigs running win 7 or newer, however I haven't received the upgrade offer on my work PC, which is running Win 7.

You could try looking in Windows Update for any optional updates that might be related to it

This might work

Open Start Menu>Control Panel>System and Security>Windows Update

For me it says "Windows 10 Upgrade Reserved" Not sure what it would day for you.

Also I checked the minimum requirements for win10 on the microsoft website and it seems my PC is capable of running win10 with no problem at all.

I made it work with this link:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/0u0au9xgy6ss18p/win10fix_full.zip?dl=0

it was given on the microsoft community website:

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-win_upgrade/i-want-to-reserve-my-free-copy-of-windows-10-but-i/848b5cce-958b-49ae-a132-a999a883265b?page=1&tm=1435824776456

I used option 3 in the command prompt. Also do not forget to run CMD as admin

Check Windows Update for an updated version of KB2952664

After installing the Windows Update, re-run the Compatibility Appraiser. This will happen automatically within a day or it can be run manually from an admin command prompt:
schtasks.exe /Run /TN "\Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser"
Once started, it may take 10 minutes or so for the appraiser to complete. Once complete, re-open the Get Windows 10 app and it will have the updated compatibility information.
