What motherboard should I get?

Here's my future setup:

Nvidia GeForce GTX 980

Intel i7 4790k

Corsair 8GB RAM 1866mhz

Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SATA III SSD

I have absolutely no idea what motherboard to get. That's mostly what I'm asking about, but any suggestions on the build itself are accepted and appreciated as well. :)

well for overclocking it doesnt really matter what board you get as long as it has the z97 chipset. intel moved the key components for overclocking on to the chipset itself so you can just pick up the cheapest z97 board you find out there and it wont hurt your performance.

the main difference between the mobos out there is durability, the bios and the ports.

from the bios my favourites are msi and asus. and these are the two brands i never had problems with (that werent my own fault). from the ports it highly depends on what you will use the pc for. if you use it for gaming something like a killer lan port would be nice. if your not planing on a dedicated sound card a proper onboard sound solution would make sence. if your planning on future sli you will need a board with sli support and two pcie 3.0 x16 slots.

just tell me what you want and i will pick a solution that doesnt unneccarily hurt your wallet :D

*EDIT: also i wouldnt recommend a 1tb ssd unless you really need it for editing or something like that. it is just a waste of money if you dont access the files frequently

thinkpad l450, i5-5200u, 8gb ram, 1080p ips, 250gb samsung ssd, fingerprint reader, 72wh battery <3, mx master, motorola lapdock as secound screen

Please quote if you want me to respond and marking as solved is always appreciated.

if your not planning on sli a msi z97-gaming 3 will do the job fine. if yes i would suggest getting a gaming 5.

a 250gb 850evo and a 1tb hdd will do the job fine. i would recommend only storing critical things on your ssd (like os, office, your main games and programms)
