Thanks. Could i order a strip out of china and wire those to the phanteks without to many problems?

 

You could as long as they are the same type, but I would recommend something like theses using the SMD5050 LED if you want to DIY a new strip. There are also RGB version but will require a controller:

if its a bad solder, yes. Its hard to say though. You could contact them and see if they will send you a new strip.

It's usually one Diode failing within the 3 LED section which causes it to die or the SMD resistor going bad, unfortunately for most situations there isn't much that can be done.

I live 230 kilometres away from the nearest computer shop and the place i order these from is further. i dont really want to ship anything back

The other thing you could do is cut that 3 LED section out on the cut lines and solder the two piece back together, it will shorten the strip a little but will not have a blank or dark spot like there is now.
