Laptop to monitor issues :(

misthosg

Hey guys,

So I connected my laptop to my monitor today and the resolution and fit is not even close to br ing right on the monitor, on my laptop's screen its fine. I have tried basically everything and I cannot seem to fix it. *Note, when running non-demanding applications , my computer runs on the integrated graphics, which was the case.

Thanks

If it is Intel integrated graphics go into the graphics control panel and change the drop down from built in to whatever monitor is there and then you can change the resolution and the height and width, I generally have to do that when I plug my laptop into tv's, If it isn't Intel integrated graphics I have no idea

See is the display driver is not "Microsoft Basic Adapter". If it is, uninstall that and install the Intel Driver for your HD Graphics.

OK thanks
