Using PC without cover for case.

What are the pro's and con's of using my computer without the sidepanel? I like using it without it because I feel like my components can breathe a bit better, but is there a chance that its bad for the parts?

Unfiltered air is my biggest concern.

 

By the way, that is a good looking, clean build.

No, its not harmful but dust might build up faster and there is a risk of something hitting the fans.

Dust and other air carried particles have it easy. Anything bigger like fly finding way in and getting executed by fan blades. Or pet getting too interested (and I'm looking at you cats). I can tell you better, safer and less dustier way. Full side filter. Basicly same thing but keeps biggest problems outside.
