Team elite is pretty solid, they're only so cheap because they want to make it onto the map

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

Ram is ram, there isn't more to it.

1600mhz speed, CL11 which is a bit on the higher side, but won't have any noticeable performance difference; just like it wouldn't compared to a 2400mhz kit.

The brand doesn't really matter either, as there are few actual RAM manufacturers. This one is probably made with Samsung chips.

However, Team Group is pretty reputable; they aren't just a re-brand. This is their factory: http://www.tweaktown.com/articles/928/team_group_factory_tour_ram_production_from_start_to_finish/index.html

There's nothing wrong with this module.

I wonder if the naysayers are put off by the lack of a flashy heat spreader.   Wouldn't surprise me.
