Roku - Windows 8.1 Desktop App

Hi, still doing a little research on a few streaming devices, and wanted to ask you Roku owners about the Windows 8.1 Desktop App found here: http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-us/app/roku/0d8ad6f8-6c08-4024-b9a9-7a1f2766dfcd If you use this app, how do you like it? Is it easy to control the Roku with it?

 

Just seems like it would be a hell of a lot easier to do the searches and logins from your desktop and keyboard than a phone or remote. Please let me know what you guys think (if you use this app) and if there are any other apps you would recommend for the Roku?
