'PC Freezes every four hours, on the hour'

yo guys, how's everyone doing?

 

My friend has had his pc since mid 2013 ish, and he says it just keeps freezing, he's running windows 8 and apparently it only freezes every 4 hours, on the hour, so I have no idea, I told him to just reinstal windows but if you guys have any suggestions then please let me know

Go to uninstall  program under control panel and check what's installed. There could be something crappy and unwanted installed that's causing this if it's that predictable when it freezes. It might also be a windows error so maybe try checking if it's up to date. Hope i could help  :)
