ASUS Zenfone 2 to release on April 23

CoolaxGaming

If you need a good cheap phone look no further than one plus.

....This is cheaper.....

Quite literally for me. I cracked my screen on the beach last week. :(

Except it isn't really *that* cheap.

The Zenfone2 is cheaper, and offers more. More RAM, microSD expansion, 2 SIM slots.

That's what I was gonna say. 2GB should be enough for me. I'm not a big power user. I don't really play games on phones or mobile anyway.

Edit: also one big thing for me is that I want NFC. I don't remember if the 1+ has that. But the zenphone is still the better option imo and It has a better sreen.

The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.

Only Abate, Axe, and Wobbles can save us.

Have been using one for almost 3 weeks now, and so far so good, there have been 2 software updates, the first one is too fix the battery usage issues, and Intel graphics driver update, the second one is minor tweaks to the UI. The camera is pretty good, but I'm a bit disapointed with the IPS screen, i just think its not good enough. I got the ZE551ML with 2GB of ram and 32GB of internal storage.

I need to work hard because I realized my toys are not cheap.

The 23rd is just for India, not the USA as well.

It's already been released in a few other countries.

You can get it from Expansys for $369 CAD. Which, realistically, is what it's going to cost anyway. $299 US.

Months end will show the true US pricing, but I imagine it'll be $299. If it's as low as $249 I'd be impressed.

ZE550ML (Atom Z3560, 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage, 5.5" HD)   = Rs 12,999 = $205 USD

ZE551ML (Atom Z3560, 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage, 5.5" FHD) = Rs 14,999 = $240 USD

ZE551ML (Atom Z3580, 4GB of RAM, 32GB storage, 5.5" FHD) = Rs 19,999 = $315 USD

ZE551ML (Atom Z3580, 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage, 5.5" FHD) = Rs 22,999 = $363 USD

Probably won't be that high retail here though. This will probably be my next phone after reviews.

I think that its a pretty good phone for the price, i own the silver version (the color looks like apple's space gray). You should try one! :)

I'm one of them people who doesn't quite favor going out and spending $800 on a cell phone :P So a device like this rocking these specifications for the price is my territory.

Yup, we are on the same side for sure. I think you won't regret it, I for sure is pretty happy with it. You should try and get the 4GB RAM version, i think it will be a beast of a $315 phone (#unlocked). For my model (Z3560/2GB/32GB) i got 37046 for the Antutu benchmark, kinda wish i wait a bit and take the 4GB version, but I'm on a tight budget :)

Yeah, I believe the higher end Atom variant benchmarked above 46,000 in Antutu which is slightly faster than the Snapdragon 801 in the OnePlus One.

Yeah, but they have to pay more to import it here, and I think they figure US customers will just pay more since it'll still be very low priced a $299.

It's about the market and what pricing is competitive. You don't immediately rush to the bottom of the barrel.

I'm actually thinking about getting my gf to pick me up a 16gb/2gb model when she's in China. They're only $200 there.
