How is it better than the s6? Do not use the function excuse.  MicroSDs on Android are pretty much useless since apps usually can't be moved to a microSD. Also the battery thing. It's sort of impractical to carry around a couple extra batteries. My Moto G 2014 is probably more power hungry because it has an older CPU and it has a 2070mah battery that is not removable. I get it down to about 30% in one day by doing more demanding task. I doubt the s6 would have that issue be as present/noticeable, because it has a decent size battery and is better on power efficiency because it has a newer CPU and better display technology.

However, both the s6 and s5 are good. (Well maybe besides touchwiz.)

I for one LOVE my extended battery on my galaxy s4. 5200mah battery is awesome. Push 6 hours of screen on time and end the day with 30-40%. few people like to make their device thicker, but its a huge thing for me. Its not very common though, and not the "norm" so it will not apply to some, but is really the only reason for a removable back.

MicroSD is important for me because of my music collection, but nowadays streaming is more common, so theres that.

I agree, no one carries around batteries, its much more convient to just get a battery bank if thats your situation.

OP, its a decent phone, my mom has one, I hate the little cover and would just take it off unless you NEED the guranteed waterproofing. Its extremely annoying. but for 250 it is a solid deal, but only if you like the phone. Would not say its better then a s6 though

Yeah I don't store my music locally but ya know at least Samsung is generous enough to make 32GB standard on the s6/edge. Even though for 128GB there is quite a premium to be had.

I just bought it thanks

if you ever have battery life issues, pick one of these up http://www.amazon.com/Hyperion-Extended-Capability-Compatible-Warranty/dp/B00RLRAEKG/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1429409206&sr=8-3&keywords=s5+extended+battery

keep in mind theres also larger versions, but thats the best comprise IMO. for me, I literally havent killed my phone in one day. no matter what I Do. Battery anxiety is not a thing. Theres days my phone only gets down to 70% at the end of the day. most days its in the 30-50% range, and sometimes in the low 20%s on the 6+ hour of screen on days. I dont think its ever gone under 15% though. and even then, with light usage it will last another 12-18 hours.

so 5000mah is the largest id go, unless you plan on doing something above the normal with your phone, like camping for a whole weekend or something. but at that point you might just want a big battery bank. Anything above 5000ish is just extra weight, but enough to make it though a whole day, no matter what.

Its funny, because in my case its actually easier to hold then stock because of the shape fits the hand more naturally.
