GTA V Performance with an AMD A10-5800k and an MSI R9 270

Go to solution Solved by Alpha11,

X4 750?  You practically have the same setup as him.

What framerates do you get with a mix of low/medium settings?

When I changed it to a mix of medium I got about 60 FPS, this is because I have my gpu at the max oc setting on MSI Afterburner, and my cpu is oc'd to 3.9ghz

I was just wondering if anyone has those components and has played GTA V. I am considering getting it but I am unsure of performance. Any help is appreciated! :D

(Edit) NOOO I do not use the integrated GPU at all! I have the integrated GPU disabled! Why would I do that guys?  :P

Well I have an R7 260x and I can play it Med-High at reasonable FPS, but I heard on TotalBiscut's PortReport that there was some problem with integrated graphics, I don't think it'll be much of a problem though.

Ok coolcool you don't use the integrated GPU, however the CPU may be a bottle neck, that's mine at least.

Low-medium settings probably, meaning most settings on Normal/off to high (Normal is the lowest possible)

Somehow i'm rather skeptical. Can't imagine your performance not being severely crippled by the complete and utter lack of vram.

I'm playing at 900p, no MSAA (even on reflections ugh), all advanced graphics settings turned off, and population variety turned down a little. Everything else is on high or very high. I am pushing my system very hard when I play this game. My CPU and VRAM are the biggest bottlenecks.

Bear in mind that some of the tech in your GPU is a bit older than mine, just a bit though.

There is a comparison between my GPU and yours. Although mine is overclocked slightly.

Alrighty then.  There you have it, @harveychestbreach, you should be good to go with your setup.
