Because your blindly following a bad trend? (*flips off the Apple fanboys*). I'm still using the Sony I bought 8-9 years ago, and its original battery still lasts a week. And the funny thing is that its a pre-touchcreen smartphone with most of the features you find on newer smartphones.

Bingo, its a K750i-and its been dropped and drowned that many times that I swear its made by Nokia. (it bounces, bursts apart, but never breaks and just keeps on working).

Nope. Honestly, 4 hours of screen on time is plenty. If you're spending more time than that on your phone, you need to seriously disconnect.

People are way too attached to their electronics these days. They completely forget the real world around them.

The only people that this may not pertain to are heavy business users.

Erm, except for the extremely low, small resolution display. It also puts out a lot more radiation than current phones.

It can't access the internet at anything close to acceptable speeds, no apps, no video calls...I'd say it can't do most things current phones can.

Idk where you got the 4 hours from, but it can do almost 10 hours browsing the internet over a strong LTE connection. Of course, battery life depends on how you use your phone, but I spend most of my time in safari, so that's the most relevant to me. Even my 5s can easily do over 4 hours.

Edit: and here's the source: http://anandtech.com/show/9146/the-samsung-galaxy-s6-and-s6-edge-review/3

More radiation? Its faaar below safety guidlines, as are all mobile devices and computers. Older smoke alarms put out more radiation (I've seen multiple with radiation warning labels for plutonium). It is actually able to access the internet quite fast, make video calls (though that was more to the java app I made for it-yes it runs java), and it had a 3D fighter jet game (I deleted that because it used up most of the phones storage space), and if I need an app for something, I can make my own.

Yes, but that doesn't mean I would use something that puts out three times the amount of radiation that a newer phone does.

Let's be real, it's no where 3G, let alone 4G speeds.

It lacks most of the features on newer phones. You can't argue that point just because you can make a few apps ;)

Hell you can't even really use it as a good MP3 player since it's capped at 2gb of expansion.

Post evidence that older phones put out more radiation. And at its time of launch 2GB cards were the largest you could buy, it can take larger capacities. (Though I'd need new earphones to use it as an MP3 player again, the sound quality is good but the build quality sucks-1 of the earpieces broke).

Go look at the GSMArena ratings. Your phone 0.99, something like the S6 puts out 0.33.
