Hello everyone!

Just to begin, i want to say that i'm very new to this forum so please redirect me if i'm in the wrong section.

So, i currently have a desktop pc with a 750 watt PSU, a i7-3770 cpu and a GTX 970 (asus stric).

I want to upgrade but i'm not sure on waht to get exactly, Should i get a i7-4790k (that requires a new motherboard, so the Asus Maximus VI hero LGA-1150 would be god for that) or a second GTX 970 strix, which means that i need to get a PCI-E power connector and an sli bridge.

So the prices for both are (according to amazon): CPU+MB $484.98 and the GPU $389.

So what do you thing would be better, Spend more on a faster CPU and a better quality MB or a bit less for more GPU horsepower?

Keep in mind that i do a bit of Video editing, livestreaming etc. as well.

If you want me to post a full system overview, don't hesitate to ask me.

Thank you in advance,

Gijs Fiten

ps: if i don't respond in a few hours, that probably means that i'm in school or in bed. (diffrent time zone here...)

Another 970

There will be no difference if you upgrade the cpu

Intel Core i7 9700k - EVGA FTW GTX 970

Second GTX 970 will be the best investment if you do gaming. Otherwise the next step up CPU wise would be moving to the 2011 platform.
